PvPStejos and Kira Join Gambit Esports

Vedran Ostojic | June 8, 2017 | League of Legends | No Comments

Leave it to Gambit eSports to pull the biggest surprise of the season. In an entirely unexpected move, Gambit eSports announced that they have signed Aleksandr ‘PvPStejos’ Glazkov and Michael ‘Kira’ Garmash. These two players have been one of the most successful players when it comes to the LCL competitions, and with signing with Gambit eSports, they will have an opportunity to test their luck in the Summer Split once again.

Back in 2016, these two players were members of Albus Nox Luna a team that went down in history the first team with the wildcard that made it through the group stage of the World Championship. At that Championship, Albus Nox Luna reached the quarter-finals but even before they managed to make a huge impact with their play in the group stage.

Aleksandr ‘PvPStejos’ Glazkov

Aleksandr ‘PvPStejos’ Glazkov started his professional League of Legends career back in 2013 when he was just 16. Before joining Gambit eSports, PvPStejos played for a lot of different teams. He started his career in TITANS ESPORTS and since he has been a member of some of the very respectable teams such as Hard Random, Good Team Multigaming, Team Just, Moscow Five.

Before joining Gambit eSports, PvPStejos was a member of M19, and while playing with M19, he had the opportunity for another LCL title in the 2017 LCL Spring Playoffs, but Virtus.pro defeated them in that match.

This defeat could be the potential reason why PvPStejos left M19 as well as the wish for new challenges. However, PVPStejos is most famous for his time in Albus NoX Luna when they managed to win the title at the 2016 LCL Summer Split. Interestingly, at that time, the member of that squad was also the second player that joined Gambit eSports, Michael ‘Kira’ Garmash.

Michael ‘Kira’ Garmash

Unlike PvPStejos, Kira started his professional career back in 2014, and before joining Gambit eSports, he did not play with a lot of teams – only three. He started his career in Hard Random, but in 2016 he joined the legendary Albus NoX Luna where he achieved the results that we already mentioned.

After that, together with PvPStejos, Kira became a member of M19, but he did not stay long in that team as, after only four months, both players left the team. After one month without a team, Kira and PvPStejos joined Gambit Esports.

Final Thoughts

Recently, Kira and PvPStejos were not the only players who joined Gambit eSports. Besides these two players, Gambit eSports signed Daniel ‘Blasting’ Kudrin, former Virtus.pro player who already won LCL title as well as former Vega Squadron player, Edward ‘Edward’ Abgaryan. These players will be joining Danil ‘Diamondprox’ Reshetnikov who played with Gambit back when the team was launched.

The addition of two very experienced players who won several titles will help Gambit eSports to strive for more. Besides that, Kira and PvPStejos are very talented, and young players, especially PvPStejos and they might be Gambit’s solutions for a longer period.

With that being said and with this kind of lineup, Gambit eSports will be one of the biggest contenders for the title in the 2017 LCL Summer Split.
