New Esports Arena Being Built in Las Vegas

Esports Arena Being Built in Las Vegas

Two major companies involved in the eSports industry, Allied eSports and eSports Arena, have joined forces to develop a completely new venue for eSports events. This new eSports arena will be located at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the initial statements, the new venue should be finished in about a year time. The grand opening of the new arena is planned for early 2018. The new eSports arena will become the centre of activities for Allied eSports and their operations that reach almost all parts of the world. According to the same initial announcements, the new venue will feature an impressive size of more than 30,000 square feet, and it will be used for different types of activities connected to the eSports industry.

Building the Best eSports Arena Yet

The new eSports arena is a very ambitious project, and investors intend on making it one of the best eSports venues in the world. With this in mind, they do not have problems with using the best possible materials and even prolonging the opening date to ensure this will be truly the best eSports establishment.

Allied eSports International’s officials have said that, just like Madison Square Garden or Wembley Stadium have become legendary sports venues, their plan is to establish the new eSports arena as a centre of eSports world. The officials of the two companies are currently working with YWS Design & Architecture on creating plans for converting the current space that hosts the night club into the eSports Arena.  The venue will feature LED video wall, daily gaming stations, telescopic seating, and everything else an eSports venue of this type needs.

Big Plans for the Future

From the very beginning, it is expected that the new eSports arena will offer its space to some of the biggest eSports tournaments in the world. If everything goes according to the plan, it will not take long for eSports organisations and companies that organise eSports competitions to start using the Arena for their tournaments and other events.

Las Vegas already has a well-developed eSports scene. The fact is, some of the biggest eSports tournaments have been organised in this city. Besides that, millions and millions of people visit Las Vegas during the year. Since the city holds the title of one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world, the move to develop a major eSports arena comes as a logical decision.

Interestingly, the eSports Arena International’s officials have also announced that the eSports arena in Las Vegas is not their only project. According to those announcements, it’s only the beginning, as eSports Arena plans on developing ten to fifteen similar venues for eSports events in different cities across North America.

These plans should be implemented in the next few years. If that turns out to be true, this will be yet another significant milestone for the development of the eSports industry. This development would further seal the status of eSports as one of the most popular activities in the entire world.
