League of Legends Patch to Buff More Than 100 Champions

Michael Fox | October 16, 2017 | League of Legends | No Comments

A new update to League of Legends will be released as a means of updating the game ahead of the coming season. This new update is distinct in that up to 120 different Champions in the game will receive buffs. This makes for one of the largest changes to the game in recent time.

The changes are relatively minor for each individual character in the game. But the arrangement of the updates makes it to where people could notice some huge changes as a match goes along. That is, the most talented players who can handle their characters will have an easier time with contending if they are good enough. It puts more of an emphasis on the entire competition as people are expected to work harder to get the most out of their players.

Rune Changes

The update to League of Legends will feature a single rune system. This mastery system will be utilized to improve upon how Champions can evolve in a match. This makes the pregame choices that people make all the more important. It influences how well certain teams might compete late in a match.

The concern with the existing rune system is that it focuses only on very small stat boosts. While people can get different boosts to their choosing, these do not necessarily impact players as much as people might have wished they could. As a result, the patch being introduced will help with improving upon how well the competition is being run.

What Boosts Are Coming About?

The rune changes have made it to where up to 120 Champions will receive buffs. However, this does not mean any individual Champion will be more powerful than anyone else. Each hero will receive an update based on what may make that figure more distinct as a match goes along.

The changes that will come to each hero include things like small armor increases, CDR additions and 10 AD among many other points. These are points that will build up over the course of a match as people contend.

Each player will be noticeably weaker at the start as everyone will have to put in plenty of effort to level up over the course of a match. The best players will be able to utilize the most valuable qualities of each champion as the game goes along.

Information on what specific Champions will have certain upgrades to them has not been released. Riot states that the changes are coming about as a means of making the game a little fairer to all players. This is to allow a sense of balance among the Champions. The individual changes will improve upon how well the competition is laid out.

The new patch for League of Legends will be released on November 8. The patch should be available for esports competitions as well as for general gaming purposes. This will make for some significant changes with regards to how individual people will be able to contend regardless of the heroes they play with. It will be a point for competition that people are going to look forward to watching in future esports events.
