One of the biggest Esports tournaments in Katowice, the IEM Katowice 2017 has released their schedule for the matches played between until 5 March.
The IEM Katowice 2017 tournament in Poland that starts on March 1 for the CS:GO section will feature 12 teams including the likes of Astralis, Virtus.pro and SK. The tournament will be played for a total price pool of $250,000.
The tournament features two groups
The teams will play eachother in Best of One series starting on the first of March for the first two days of the tournament. The matches will be played two at a time so check out the schedule to make sure you see the matches that you find the most entertaining to watch. Following these intense Best of One series the first place team in each of the groups will immediatly advance to the semi-finals of the tournament. The second and third place teams will play eachother in a Best of Three series to fight for their spot in the Quarter finals. These Best of Three matches will be played on the 3rd of March. The 4th of March will be the Semi-finals which will be the winners of the 3th of March against the Group winners fighting for their spot in the Grand final of the IEM Katowice. On the 5th of March the Grand final is played in a Best of Five between the winners of the semi-finals.
